Cameron Diehl has been the Executive Director of the League since October 2017. He started at the League as an intern in January 2006 and first interacted with the League when he was in high school and attended Local Officials Day as a member of the Murray City Youth Government. He graduated from the University of Utah and from the University of Colorado School of Law and is a huge Utes and Jazz fan. He and his wife Rachel are the proud parents of two daughters and a son who love meeting mayors and city leaders.
Molly Wheeler is Deputy Director at the Utah League of Cities and Towns (ULCT), where she leads membership engagement and special projects and assists with the League’s advocacy efforts. She joined ULCT in 2021 as Policy Director and has since taken on a broad range of work supporting Utah’s municipalities. Molly holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Utah and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. Outside of work, she enjoys doing all the good outdoor Utah nonsense—hiking, biking, skiing, exploring, and generally finding reasons to be outside.
Justin Lee is Deputy Director of the Utah League of Cities and Towns. Prior to joining the League, Justin spent 11 years working for three different lieutenant governors (Bell, Cox, and Henderson), holding multiple positions including as State Director of Elections. During that time Justin once accidentally tackled the Governor during a game of flag football and still kept his job. Justin has a BA in Political Science from the University of Utah, and a MA in Political Science from Utah State University. Justin has a wife and 4 kids and outside of work can be found with his family sometimes traveling, sometimes climbing rocks, sometimes hiking, and sometimes performing on stage.
Angela is the Operations Coordinator here at the League. She handles all day-to-day logistics and is your go-to when you don’t know who else is your go-to! In her free time you will find her gallivanting around the mountains or catching up on reality tv.
Katie is the Events Manager at the League. In this role she organizes all event logistics, helps with programming, and manages the sponsorship program. You can usually spot her speedwalking around the ULCT conferences as she checks in on things. If she is not in the office, then she is probably somewhere outside on her bike, hanging out with her pups (and husband), or reading.

Jon Kwong is the Engagement Coordinator at the Utah League of Cities and Towns (ULCT), where he helps manage and execute the League’s communication and engagement strategies. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Strategic Communication from Utah Valley University (UVU), and loves enjoying the Utah outdoors, concerts, and all things soccer.
McKenna Marchant is the Program Director for the Local Administrative Advisor program at the Utah League of Cities and Towns, where she pairs big-picture policy thinking with practical, roll-up-your-sleeves problem solving. She previously managed Utah’s $407M Private Activity Bond Program and has led initiatives in affordable housing, rural planning, and community development across the state. Raised in Panguitch and now living in Francis, she cares deeply about Utah’s smallest communities. McKenna holds an MPA from the University of Utah and a BA in History from UVU.

Jared C. Tingey serves as the Legal Director for the Utah League of Cities and Towns (ULCT), where he advocates for and advances the municipal interests of communities throughout Utah. With well over a decade of dedicated service representing local governments, Jared specializes in land use, public finance, data privacy, and public infrastructure laws. His day-to-day work involves collaborating closely with state legislators, drafting crucial municipal legislation, and providing essential legal training to local officials on newly passed state statutes. Prior to joining the powerhouse team at ULCT, Jared spent five years as a Senior Assistant City Attorney for West Jordan City and four years serving as a deputy county attorney for Duchesne County. Throughout his extensive career in public law, he has advised public clients on a comprehensive spectrum of municipal issues, including public works, utilities, procurement, human resources, contracts, and criminal prosecution. Jared earned a Political Science Degree from Brigham Young University and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Alexa Oldham is a Policy Analyst on the advocacy team at the Utah League of Cities and Towns. She recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a BS in Political Science. When she wasn’t cheering on the Utes at football games or out on the slopes, Alexa interned in the Salt Lake City Office of the Mayor and in the Governor’s Office, working for his Senior Advisor for Housing Strategy & Innovation. At the League, Alexa works primarily on housing, land use, and taxation issues with the goal of achieving the best policy outcomes for Utah’s municipalities. She loves riding her bike to the office, running in City Creek Canyon, and trying out all of the best restaurants in the valley.
