ULCT 2026 General Session Bill Tracker
Each legislative session, the Utah League of Cities and Towns tracks more than 200 bills that affect local governments in the state. You can see a full list of ULCT’s legislative positions by clicking on the bill tracker image below or clicking this link. Reading the ULCT bill tracker
Tracking Levels
ULCT staff, members, and partner organizations review hundreds of bills each year to determine the scale and scope of impact they will have on municipal operations.
ULCT positions
Legislative positions are determined by either the ULCT Board of Directors or the ULCT Legislative Policy Committee (LPC). Possible positions may include:
- Support – ULCT supports the bill
- Neutral – ULCT does not support or oppose the bill
- Oppose – ULCT opposes the bill
- No position – The LPC failed to reach a policy consensus (60% of present voting members) on the bill.
- Position pending – The policy committee has not yet considered the bill.
